My MF 4240 is having an issue where when it moves forward in low setting, it's good but struggles when using high setting. been getting the error code 4-4.
the connections and sensors seem okay so not sure what else should I look into. Any ideas?

Hey, I'm pretty sure 4-4 is a clutch pack pressure thing. Make sure you're on the right settings and if yes, then you gotta account for changes in pressure too.

Absolutely agree that the 4-4 error on their MF 4240 could be related to a clutch pack pressure problem. Start by checking the transmission fluid level and make sure it's clean. Also, take a look at the transmission filter and sump screen for any blockages. If everything looks good there, you might need a pro to check the clutch pack pressure. Have you checked the fluid yet?

The clutch pack or pressure issue in the powershift, if it's fine in low but bogs or slips in high, you might be losing pressure to the high range clutch but since you already checked sensors and wiring, I'd look next at hydraulic pressure, specifically the solenoids and the pressure to the high clutch pack

Sometimes it's as simple as a weak solenoid or a clogged scree, check fluid levels and condition.
