MF4255 doesn't start

My MF4255 has been a strong companion, but not it has a problem that I need to sort before I get another tractor. The problem is that it doesn't start, no crank no nothing, so I'm assuming it's something electrical. Im planning on going through the usual suspects but I couldn't find the safety switches. Can anyone point me in the right direction before I tear it apart.

@valhallafarmer Sounds like a safety switch for sure. Check the clutch pedal and neutral position on the shifter. Also, don't overlook the PTO engagement switch. Those are the big three on most tractors.

Have you checked the seat and PTO safety switches? They're often tucked under the seat frame or near the PTO lever. What symptoms led up to the no-crank issue, did it happen suddenly?

Check the neutral safety switch near the gear selector and the clutch pedal switch too. There was this time mine acted up the same way. It's a loose wire, no biggie.

I'd first check the clutch safety switch. You have to have the clutch all the way down for it to make contact and allow the starter to engage. If that's not it, then I'd look at the gearshift lever safety switch and then the PTO safety switch. It's almost always one of the safety switches or a bad ground somewhere.
